A rude awakening...

A growing number of people are recognizing that we are now in an era of fascism, although this shift did not occur suddenly. Those who have stayed informed and alert to the increasing power of extreme right-wing think tanks, which have been financing lawmakers and turning them into advocates for their agendas, have anticipated this change.
It is clear that more individuals are becoming aware, yet they still believe that the Democratic Party can alter the situation by repeatedly electing the same type of politicians.
Electing candidates who uphold the status quo will not solve the current problems.
Instead of concentrating mainly on the federal level, we should strive to build community solidarity to tackle this class struggle at a very local level. Through such efforts, local leaders will emerge and become a genuine force to support in positions where they can effect meaningful change.
1. Attend Meetings:
Participate in city council, board, and committee meetings to understand local issues and decisions. Sometimes a few involved people can make the difference.
2. Report Concerns:
Use public portals or contact information to report local issues like potholes or litter to city leadership.
3. Contact Officials:
Write, email, or call your local legislators to express your views on community matters.
4. Vote:
Engage in local elections to have a say in who represents your community.
Volunteer Your Time and Skills
1. Find Opportunities:
